Two NFL Contests Announced

Submitted by Mules_Brian on Wed, 09/06/2006 - 4:22pm. :: Global Games | Preview

Two new contests have been announced in preparation for the upcoming NFL season. As with other MBLS prediction contests, each will allow owners to earn metros, which can be exchanged for sim-league cash.

In NFL Over/Under 2006, owners will select eight NFL teams and predict whether they will finish at, above, or below the Vegas preseason predicted total.

NFL Pick'em 2006 gives owners the chance to test their prognostication ability by selecting the eight division winners and four playoff wild-card teams. From those selections, conference and Super Bowl Champions are chosen. In addition, four individual awards can be predicted (Regular Season MVP, Super Bowl MVP, ROY, and Coach of the Year).

YES! Another year of MetLeague contests!
At long last, the 2006 Met League Contest Season finally got underway today with the launch of two new Met League sports prediction contests for the new sports year. Prediction contests were one of our most popular features in the Baseball Coalition and Global Sports Coalition in previous years, and MBLS team owners strongly endorsed the idea this offseason in the MBLS Futures Survey.

Franchise owners participating in all the Met League sim leagues will have an opportunity to earn metros, which can be converted into fantasy sim league cash, by participating in the contests.
